# Military units

> Share credits and manage membership for your organization.

## Share credits with a unit

A unit gives your organization a shared credit pool or subscription.
Administrators manage membership and billing. Members write evaluations
and awards in their own packages.

## Request a unit

Open [Military Units in Settings](https://rapidepr.com/settings/units) and choose
Request Unit Account. Once approved, you become its administrator and can add members
using the email addresses of their RapidEPR accounts.

Each person can belong to one unit at a time.

Joining a unit shares access to credits. Each member still creates and manages
their own packages, including packages for people they supervise; membership
does not turn packages into a shared editing workspace.

## Use shared credits

RapidEPR uses unit credits or the unit subscription first. If the unit cannot
cover a submission, it uses the member's personal subscription or credits.

A bullet submission costs one credit, and an award submission costs three.
Administrators can view member usage and purchase more credits.
They cannot view the text in members' packages.
