RapidEPR supports both quick Army statements and form-aware NCOER/OER options. The form-aware options are the best choice when you know the rated Soldier’s grade tier and the section you are filling.
Form-Aware
- NCOER (SGT) — SGT / direct-level NCOER sections.
- NCOER (SSG-1SG) — SSG, SFC, MSG, and 1SG organizational-level NCOER sections.
- NCOER (CSM/SGM) — CSM and SGM strategic-level NCOER sections.
- OER (Company Grade) — DA Form 67-10-1, 2LT through CPT.
- OER (Field Grade) — DA Form 67-10-2, MAJ through LTC.
- OER (Strategic / Colonel) — DA Form 67-10-3, COL.
General
- NCOER — quick NCOER bullet.
- NCOER - Tailored (Legacy) — the previous broad NCOER tailored option.
- OER — quick OER narrative statement.
Other
- Senior Rater Comment
- Award Achievement

NCOER (SGT)
Use this for SGT NCOER support. Pick the section you are writing for: Character, Presence, Intellect, Leads, Develops, Achieves, or Rater Overall Performance. The output uses NCOER bullet style and includes xx placeholders when numbers are missing.
Example Input:
SGT led a 4-Soldier team through 18 training events, certified 3 Soldiers, and improved squad readiness.
Section: Rater Overall Performance
Example Output (Option 1):
o led 4-Soldier team through 18 training events; certified 3 Soldiers and improved squad readiness by xx%, prepared for increased team leader responsibility
NCOER (SSG-1SG)
Use this for SSG, SFC, MSG, and 1SG NCOER support. Select the rated rank and the section so the tone matches the Soldier’s level of responsibility.
Example Input:
SSG managed platoon maintenance tracker, trained 12 Soldiers, closed 27 overdue services, and improved equipment readiness from 82% to 94%.
Rated Rank: SSG
Section: Achieves
Example Output (Option 1):
o managed platoon tracker for 27 overdue services; trained 12 Soldiers and raised equipment readiness from 82% to 94% during reporting period
NCOER (CSM/SGM)
Use this for CSM and SGM evaluations. Sections include Character, Attributes and Competencies Narrative, and Rater Overall Performance. Output is broader and more strategic than lower-grade NCOER bullets.
Example Input:
CSM advised battalion command team during deployment, synchronized 6 companies, mentored 18 senior NCOs, and improved sponsorship completion from 70% to 96%.
Rated Rank: CSM
Section: Attributes and Competencies Narrative
Example Output (Option 1):
Advised battalion command team across 6 deployed companies while mentoring 18 senior NCOs and raising sponsorship completion from 70% to 96%. Strengthened standards, leader development, and disciplined execution across the formation.
NCOER
Use this for a quick NCOER-style bullet when you do not need a specific form-aware section.
Example Input:
NCO developed a training tracker that helped supervisors close overdue requirements.
Example Output:
o created training tracker; closed xx overdue requirements and improved section completion by xx% across xx Soldiers
NCOER - Tailored (Legacy)
This is the previous broad NCOER tailored option. It is still available for users who prefer the older workflow, but the grade-specific NCOER formats above are usually more precise.
Example Input:
NCO led squad through field training and mentored junior Soldiers.
Section: Leads
Example Output (Option 1):
o led xx-Soldier squad through xx field events; coached xx junior Soldiers and improved team execution across xx mission tasks
OER (Company Grade)
Built for DA Form 67-10-1, company-grade officers (2LT-CPT). Section-aware options include Character, Presence, Intellect, Leads, Develops, Achieves, Significant Duties and Responsibilities, Overall Performance Comments, and Senior Rater Comments on Potential.
Example Input:
LT served as company XO during NTC rotation, planned 14 logistics packages, and trained 6 new lieutenants.

OER (Field Grade)
Built for DA Form 67-10-2, field-grade officers (MAJ-LTC). It adds field-grade surfaces such as Performance Narrative, Operational Assignment recommendations, and Broadening Assignment recommendations.
Example Input:
MAJ served as battalion S3 during JRTC rotation, synchronized 5 maneuver companies, and built the operations rhythm that produced 12 mission successes.
Section: Performance Narrative (Part IV.d.2)
Example Output (Option 1):
MAJ [name] performed superbly as battalion S3 throughout a complex JRTC rotation; synchronized 5 maneuver companies, integrated enablers across warfighting functions, and built an operations rhythm that produced 12 mission successes and positioned the battalion for follow-on tasking.
OER (Strategic / Colonel)
Built for DA Form 67-10-3, strategic-grade and Colonel-level officers. It emphasizes strategic context, large-formation leadership, combined / joint / interagency complexity, and potential for senior strategic responsibility.
Example Input:
COL commanded brigade through CTC rotation, integrated joint and multinational forces, and built a leader development program for 24 field-grade officers.
Section: Performance and Potential Narrative (Part IV.c.2)
Example Output (Option 1):

OER
Use this for a quick OER-style narrative when you do not need a grade-tiered form section.
Example Input:
Officer built a digital tracker that reduced staff reporting delays.
Example Output:
[name] applied sound judgment and technical skill to build a digital tracker that reduced staff reporting delays by xx%, improved visibility across xx sections, and gave commanders a clearer tool for managing recurring requirements.
Use this for senior-rater potential language. Provide factual rankings, comparison groups, and recommendation context when you have them. RapidEPR will use placeholders instead of inventing unsupported rankings or promotion language.
Example Input:
Top 10% of 24 captains I senior rate; ready for company command and resident PME.
Example Output:
Top 10% of 24 captains I senior rate. Ready for company command and resident PME; continue to place in positions requiring disciplined leadership, sound judgment, and measurable results.

Example Input:
Soldier built tracker that reduced overdue training and improved reporting accuracy.
Example Output:
Built a training tracker that closed xx overdue requirements, improved reporting accuracy by xx%, and gave leaders reliable visibility across xx Soldiers. The system reduced missed suspenses and strengthened the unit’s ability to manage recurring training requirements.
